IN LUCE
In Luce is a performance in the dark for fifteen spectators at a time who share a single source of light: a torch. In the room the body of a young woman changes through moving images. The viewer is invited through the personal use of a mag light to capture the frames of these apparitions. In Luce it requires the eye to slow down to train in the dark and conform to the cadence of the images that play with perception. In "In Luce" we witness a "revelation" that is not only performative, but also symbolic and emotional, like showing oneself gradually to the gaze of the other. A tension in the visual and sound detail, a disposition to enter in a totally subjective way through a shared time-rhythm, a listening and a vision that are not only physical but also emotional.
